These terms govern your use of the Vinfarm Solutions farm management application (app.vinfarm.co.ke), this website (vinfarm.co.ke), and any related services. By creating an account or using our services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Who We Are

Vinfarm Solutions is a Kenyan farm management software business operating under the brand AgriPlan by Vinfarm Solutions. Our registered contact address is Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya.

References to "we", "us", or "Vinfarm" in these terms refer to Vinfarm Solutions. References to "you" or "user" refer to the person or business that has created an account.

2. Your Account

To use AgriPlan you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you are 18 or older.

One account corresponds to one farm (or up to three farms on the Premium plan). You may not share your account credentials with other people outside your farm.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Plans

AgriPlan is offered on three plans: Free Trial, Pro (KSh 500/month or KSh 5,000/year), and Premium (KSh 1,500/month or KSh 15,000/year). Plan features are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

Payment

Payments are processed through our secure payment partner (Pesapal). We accept M-Pesa, card, and bank transfer. All amounts are in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated.

Billing cycle

Subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing period (monthly or yearly). Yearly subscribers receive approximately 17% savings compared to monthly billing.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, your account will revert to read-only mode. Your data is never deleted due to non-payment. You can reactivate at any time by completing a successful payment.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access until the end of the period you paid for. Yearly subscribers who cancel within 7 days of their annual renewal may request a pro-rata refund by contacting us.

4. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full Pro plan access. No payment card is required to start the trial.

At the end of the trial, your account automatically converts to read-only mode — you can view all your data but cannot add new records until you subscribe to a paid plan. Your data is retained indefinitely and is never deleted.

One free trial per person and per farm. Creating multiple accounts to extend a trial is a violation of these terms and may result in account termination.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

6. Your Data

Your farm data belongs to you. We do not sell your data to third parties. We process your data solely to provide the AgriPlan service.

You can export a full backup of your farm data at any time from within the app. If you close your account and request data deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

7. Intellectual Property

The AgriPlan software, design, brand, and content on vinfarm.co.ke are owned by Vinfarm Solutions. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AgriPlan for your own farm management purposes.

You retain full ownership of the farm data you enter into the app.

8. Availability & Uptime

We aim to keep AgriPlan available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control (e.g. third-party infrastructure outages).

AgriPlan is offline-first: the mobile/web app stores your data locally and syncs when connectivity is available, so short outages typically do not affect your ability to record data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Vinfarm Solutions is not liable for:

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the total subscription fees you paid to us in that period.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app under Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, or if we decide to discontinue the service (in which case we will give at least 30 days' notice and offer a pro-rata refund).

After termination, your data is retained in read-only form for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect.

Continued use of AgriPlan after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya.
